The power of plants
Originally from Asia, then established around the Mediterranean basin during Antiquity, the lemon was used in traditional medicine for its antipyretic, anti-infection and digestive benefits. Its precious fruit was eaten by sailors to protect against scurvy during long voyages and the tree spread across the world thanks to these sea expeditions.
Skincare benefits of Lemon extract
Lemon extract is traditionally used to counteract the drying effects of hard water and to stimulate cell renewal thanks to its exfoliating properties.
