This perennial plant, harvested in France, sometimes twice a year, has lightly fragranced leaves and small white flowers with 5 petals. It is the first plant to invade open areas and chokes out any competition with its imposing size. It is considered a pioneer plant. In traditional Chinese medicine, and in India, Japan and Europe, wild chervil is known and still used for its anti-inflammatory properties.
